The foundation of the Association is our members! This committee focuses on member engagement, benefits and retention, as well as outreach to new prospective members. The members of this committee are driven by maximizing member value and are tasked by ensuring all members have the support they need to have the best membership experience possible. The committee actively works with the Association’s President, staff and Board to develop and implement ideas aimed at establishing and strengthening business development, networking and opportunity sharing within the LBA.

The LBA takes pride in curating high-impact experiences that celebrate and connect South Florida’s building and business communities. The Signature Events Committee is dedicated to organizing and executing The LBA's premier events, ensuring they deliver unparalleled value and engagement for our members and guests. From our annual Gala, which highlights our community's achievements to the dynamic Business & Career Expo  that champions industry growth, the committee also oversees our highly anticipated Golf Tournament and Fishing Tournament. The year culminates in our prestigious Awards

At The LBA, we recognize the importance of fostering ongoing connections and sharing knowledge within our community. The Events Committee is responsible for planning and delivering a diverse range of gatherings that engage and benefit our members throughout the year. Beyond our monthly luncheons, each featuring insights from key community figures, this committee also manages member cocktails, info seminars, and networking receptions. Through these events, the Events Committee provides consistent opportunities for collaboration, learning, and relationship-building among South Florida's business and construction professionals.

The main responsibilities of this committee include maintaining the integrity of the association’s brand through print mediums. The committee is also dedicated to sharing the success, aims and interests of LBA members across all media and is responsible for the LBA’s signature publication Proyecto Magazine. Committee members represent a cross section of our represented industries and contribute to our association publication

The Women of the LBA committee focuses on highlighting the successes and creating an inviting atmosphere for women in our community and in the construction industry. This committee brings the women members of the LBA together to plan events, exchange ideas, business goals and ambitions to help their respective businesses thrive and most importantly promote the LBA throughout the community.

The LBA Charity Committee is dedicated to fostering community outreach and making a positive impact throughout South Florida. Through meaningful initiatives and partnerships with our members, the committee leads efforts to support local charities and address pressing community needs. By organizing impactful events, donation drives, and volunteer opportunities, the Charity Committee unites our members around a shared commitment to give back. With each project, we strive to strengthen our community bonds, uplift those in need, and create lasting change through the generosity and support of our partners and members.

The Finance Committee is responsible for overseeing the organization’s accounting policies and internal financial controls. It also works with the Board of Directors to make the board aware of the financial status and any risks facing the Association.
