Pedro Portela

Pedro Portela is an Executive Board member of the Latin Builders Association. He is also the Vice President of Land Development for Lennar Homes, Southeast Florida Division.

Lennar Homes, a Fortune 500 company, builds new homes in 22 states in more than 78 popular real
estate markets across the nation. Pedro has over twenty years of experience in construction,
acquisition, and development. The last seventeen years have been with Lennar Homes where he has led
the development of countless properties throughout Miami Dade and Broward County totaling over one
billion dollars.

Pedro Portela graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida International University with a B.S. in
Construction Management. He sits on the Moss Department of Construction Management Industry
Advisory Council at Florida International University as well as the Baptist West Kendall Advisory Board.
