The grand opening of the Latin Builders Association Construction and Business Management Academy Charter High School took place on Saturday, March 4th in Hialeah Gardens.
On Saturday, LBA Board of Directors, along with several elected officials, cut the blue ribbon at the new building.
Last year in May, 37 students became the first LBA Academy graduating class.
The idea of opening a high school started back in 2012. The organization announced the opening of the school and partnered with Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
The LBA Construction and Business Management Academy Charter High School offers high school students the opportunity to earn their diploma, industry certifications, college credits, and even own their own business, concurrently.
