Jorge L. Garciga

Jorge L. Garciga is a Senior Construction Manager with the Facility Design & Construction team at Jackson Health System. He currently completed the brand new $325 million Doral West Hospital and Medical Office Building to serve our Miami-Dade County’s residents.  Most of Mr. Garciga’s professional life has been spent working on major healthcare related projects.  He began as an intern-architect with a professional design service firm and rose through the ranks into the public sector as a Senior Construction Manager. Mr. Garciga holds a Master in Architecture from Florida International University.

In 2008 Mr. Garciga was elected Councilman for Miami Dade County Community Council 12 serving the citizens for over 8 years.  He worked closely with public officials to identify community needs and resolve zoning/land use cases.  Additionally he chaired the district 8 small business “mom and pop” grant program on behalf of the county commissioner.  Mr. Garciga’ s community service work, combined with his professional healthcare experience, provides a specialized level of team collaboration and expertise on everyday projects.
