Edward Portas

Edward W. Portas is currently serving as President of Ballast Construction LLC, a South Florida General Contractor and Construction Management firm based in Coral Gables, Fl. Edward has been involved in the South Florida construction industry for the last 18 years. Throughout his career, Mr. Portas has successfully managed a broad spectrum of Construction projects ranging from healthcare, commercial, heavy highway, multifamily, luxury residential, and international hospitality projects. 

Mr. Portas obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from Florida International University.

Edward and his wife Amanda reside in Coral Gables, Florida with their twins Edward Jr. and Amelia. On his free time, he enjoys traveling and boating. On weekends when he is not working, he can usually be found aboard his boat with family and friends.
