Latin Builders Association Board of Directors and elected officials gathered at the beautiful Rusty Pelican for this month’s luncheon with Miami Mayor Candidate, Francis Suarez.

Suarez took the stage and spoke about improving the city’s traffic and how to prevent flooding after dealing with Hurricane Irma and the ability to expand the city.

“We have to take care of all our brothers and sisters in this city.” he said.

Suarez said he just finished his 400th commission meeting and explained his eight years as commissioner.

On Friday, Suarez said becoming the City of Miami mayor would be a “significant accomplishment not for me, but for the city.”

Suarez is the son of the first Cuban-American Mayor of a city, Xavier Suarez.
